Static Scoring

Challenge points remain the same regardless of how many teams solve them.

Point Range

Challenges range between 10 and 500 points based on difficulty.

First Blood

First team to solve a challenge gets a small bonus and the First Blood badge.

Hint Penalty

Using hints reduces the points earned for that challenge by 10-25%.

Tie Breaker

In case of a tie, the team that reached the score first wins.

Score Freeze

Scoreboard freezes one hour before end - you can still solve challenges.

Flag Format

The standard flag format is:

deadface{th1s_1s_4n_ex4mpl3_fl4g}

Important Notes:

  • Flags are case-sensitive
  • Include the deadface{} wrapper when submitting
  • No spaces before or after the flag
